Bow Wow has been doing his thing in the music biz since his debut album, Beware of Dog, back in the late 1990s at the age of 11.
But, despite his success, the young rapper has received criticism, hate and obstacles along the way. He's also made a few mistakes of his own.
Apparently, the stress of fame and being in the public eye is getting to Bow Wow, and on Saturday (November 6), he raised concern among fans after tweeting some suicidal thoughts.
"I swear i be wishing i was dead sometimes. Because i feel like that's the only way ill get peace," the 23-year-old rapper wrote (@BowWow).
"People don't know me man. Yall don't ... start looking at Shad. Not Bow wow. F*** Bow. I go through sh** daily. I'm Just like yall"
Before signing off, he left with a thought about what it'd be like if he never jumped into music: "I sacrificed my life for this Hip Hop sh**. I put my 'REAL' life on hold. If i could do it over.... I wudda went to school. Got me a reg job."
The Twitter rant followed accusations by a radio host last week that he was involved in the alleged molestion of members of the R&B group B2K during the teen years.
Former member Raz B has been speaking out against former manager Chris Stokes and older singer Marques Houston, both of whom he claims sexual abused him and other members of B2K years ago. During Raz B's radio interview, Bow Wow name was brought up ... and the rapper was furious, tweeting about the controversy and denying any involvement.
"Leave that funny sh** over there n****. I dont know you for u to be speaking my name. keep my f***ing name out yo mouth u hoe ass n****," Bow Wow wrote.
Bow hasn't updated his Twitter timeline since Saturday.
