Update: B.G. Enters Not Guilty Plea For November Gun Charge

Rapper B.G. appeared in a New Orleans courtroom last week, entering a not guilty plea for an arrest in November where he was charged with felony gun possession.
The popular local rapper (real name: Christopher Dorsey) was arrested last year after police officers found three firearms -- two reported stolen -- and loaded clips in his vehicle during a routine traffic stop.
Two other men riding with B.G. were also arrested.
After his arrest, the rapper declared his innocence, claiming he was discriminated against because of his reputation and rap persona.
"The bond, [the court] wanted to set it at a 100,000 because of my record," B.G. said in an interview. "As of right now ... I don't know how the guns got in the vehicle. For all I know the police coulda' put 'em in the vehicle. But when I got in the vehicle, the guns wasn't in there."
B.G. has had multiple run-ins with the law throughout his rap career. Just last year, he was arrested four times. In one incident, the 29-year-old was sentenced to two years' probation for driving while intoxicated, he was also ordered to submit to drug testing, which he failed.
Due to his lengthy rap sheet, he could face stiff penalties if found guilty on the gun charges. Stay tuned...
